What the bottle says... Original Recipe from South Africa Peri Peri Chile Pepper Sauce is a flavorful condiment that adds passion and taste to chicken, fish and meat dishes especially on the grill. Peri Peri or Pili Pili (Swahili) was found in Africa nearly 400 years ago. The origin of the African Bird's Eye pepper is not known. It is believed perhaps that the portugese and spanish explorers introduced the pepper to Africa.
What we say... Zulu Zulu have created a truly authentic tasting range of all-natural Peri Peri sauces that we are delighted to have got our hands on. This is a fresh and zesty peri peri sauce which goes perfectly with chicken and fish. Our favourite is to smear Zulu Zulu Lemon and Herb Peri Peri Sauce over Tuna, let it marinade in the fridge for half an hour and then (weather permitting) slap it on the barbecue - simple and delicious.
