Tesouka Moroccan Harissa
What the bottle says... Harissa is a North-African hot chilli sauce made from fresh chillies, garlic and lemons. It is an important ingredient in this cuisine and is used to give flavour and heat to casseroles and tagines.
What we say... We're really pleased to add this to to the Scorchio shelves - we've been on the search for a good quality, genuine-article harissa paste for some time and this is the real deal, direct from Morocco. Use it to full effect by adding a healthy dollop to your stews. For a North African feast, cook up lamb in a rich tomato sauce with this paste mixed in. Add dried apricots, almonds and coriander and serve with buttery cous cous.
