Spice Exchange Tequila Ginger & Lime Hot Sauce/Marinade
What the bottle says... Use as a table sauce, seasoning or marinade for fiery and savory foods. Mix with olive oil and marinate fish, beef, lamb or game for 12/24 hours. Grill over a high flame to sear, then cover with foil and slow cook on low.
What we say... We always like something a little different and this tequila sauce is just that. A healthy dosh of citrus lime zing is warmed up by aromatic ginger and Habanero and mellowed by mango sweetness. A lovely texture that's not so much chunky but has bits in it, making it a delight in your mouth. We think this one lends itself particularly well to fish, whether you're steaming foiled wrapped snapper or splashing onto prawns before grilling them.
