Marie Sharp's Green Habanero Pepper Sauce
What the bottle says... Marie Sharp's Nopal/Prickly Pear Habanero is the first of its kind. This unique prickly pear/ Habanero blend, high in fiber, will knock you out. Her secret homemade recipe utilizes the potent green Habanero pepper. Produced in the fertile paradise of Belize, her green Habanero considered to be the hottest variety of pepper known to man, Marie has spent many year cultivating a Habanero worthy of her recipe. She has succeeded.
What we say... Marie Sharp's sauces are made in the foothills of the Mayan Mountains of Belize using old-fashioned methods and the freshest locally grown ingredients. So with this in mind, it's little wonder that they taste so good and are so highly regarded.
OK, so we know that the Naga Jolokia is the hottest chilli known to man which contradicts the bottle claims somewhat, but don't let that put you off because this is certainly like nothing else and it has a bark to match its bite. All natural and with the most glorious green colour, the combination of cactus and green Habanero is unusual and delicious. A great additive to the pot for a great many dishes, we think this most naturally lends itself to Mexican cooking with the lime adding crucial freshness to the heat.
