What we say... OK, we know Marie Sharp's claim to grow the 'hottest variety of pepper known to man' can be refuted but don't let that put you off her sauces. They are fresh, flavoursome chilli sauces with a hefty heat hit.
We love this grapefruit one. It's great to have something on the shelves that's different and this certainly is. It's beautiful looking, chunky sauce with grapefruit 'bits' rubbing up next to the yellow Habanero peppers. Sour and fruity, hot and fresh-tasting, the imaginative cook will have so much fun with this. We think it lends itself well to seafood but would also enliven chicken. How about stirring a splash into rice or cous cous along with some finely chopped coriander and spring onion? Better still, add it to roughly chopped toms, red onion and avocado chunks for a fiery, fruity salsa.
