What we say... Marie Sharp's sauces are made in the foothills of the Mayan Mountains of Belize using old-fashioned methods and the freshest locally grown ingredients. So with this in mind, it's little wonder that they taste so good and are so highly regarded.
This is a very hot sauce indeed - it was named the winner of 1999 highest scoville award in New Mexico. Now we do acknowledge that was some time ago and hot sauces have come a long way since then with the discovery of the mighty Naga Jolokia and the widespread use of extract in sauces to take them to another hellish heat level. All that said, this is still a very very hot sauce that pure chilli hellfire, backed up with flavour. Use sparingly as an additive and have milk to hand.
