I bought this sauce as my first introduction to "hot" sauces and initially it disappointed me. It was used for a couple of barbecues as a condiment, then sat in the fridge unused as it was not as hot as I was hoping. The flavour is quite strong, but pleasant and it is a rather thin sauce which is suitable for splashing over meat. Looking for extra heat, I added a good glug, about 10 drops, of Daves Insanity Sauce in to the bottle and mixed it thoroughly. I have since got through nearly the whole bottle in less that two weeks. It now has the extra kick that I needed and it has added an excellent flavour and fiery heat to burgers, chicken, kebabs and pizzas. I WILL buy another bottle! With or without the heat, I have become addicted to the flavour that this sauce provides.

This is a fairly good value for money and versatile sauce, it pretty much works with everything, the consistency is quite thin as it uses vinegar, similar to Tabasco, but it doesn't run off of your food either, so it's not a problem for most uses. The versatility is this sauce's party piece, if you want some warmth and extra flavour to your meal, snack, anything, it goes with it, it's a simple sauce, with a nice flavour, yet not overpowering, if you're looking for something with a big kick, this isn't it, I would say it has 70% of the heat of Tabasco, so it all depends on what your perception of heat is. If you're looking for a versatile sauce that you can use on anything to give it more complexity and depth, then this is a good one to go for, and good value as well, one of the most popular and best selling sources in America.

Heaven-in-a-bottle! Turns any meat into an absolute pleasure (sorry vegetarians, probably has good veggie applications too). This sauce is hot but flavoursome, hard to describe, unique really, a condiment at it's best.
