Encona Jamaican Jerk Sauce
What the bottle says... The technique of 'jerking' is unique to the Caribbean island of Jamaica. For centuries this exotic combination of spices and chillies has been used as a marinade to tenderise meat and add flavour before BBQing or grilling the meat over the bark of the allspice tree. Encona's Jerk Sauce has been especially blended to capture all the flavours of the traditional jerk recipe and encapsulate them in a convenient table sauce. This aromatic and mildly spiced sauce is equally delicious with meat, fish or vegetables, as a baste with grills or as an ingredient.
