Dried Mulato Chillies (50g)
Similar to the Ancho with a complex flavour, this mild large pepper is the dried version of the Poblano varieties of chillies.
With subtle elements of liquorice, cherry, raisins and tobacco it is great as a base for sauces or marinades as well as adding richness to sauces. Our tip is to soak one, chop it finely and add it to a bolognaise to transform an ordinary spag bol to something special. Its also great ingredient for use with the huge variety of delicious Poblano Chicken recipes.
