this is a retrospective review, as I first tried this sauce many years ago whilst I was still with my EX-WIFE.To this day I don't know whether she was trying to kill me or not, bur I have my suspicions..............I had always prided myself on being able to handle any amount of heat and whilst making a sandwich I added just two drops to a heap of mayonnaise , how bad can it be? I thought, like a fool. the burning was immediate and the bitter taste was a totally new experience for me (I was young,naive and didn't know about pure extract. It is not a great tasting sauce, but if used sparingly whilst cooking will heat up anything. It must be used as an additive and as the bottle says it IS the ultimate insanity and must be treated with respect.use for cooking and the strong bitter taste will be negated I cannot believe that people use it as a table sauce. it never put me off Dave's sauces though and I still buy them............I'm just a little more wary these days!..

This sauce is perfect for spicing up any meal. Be warned though not to over-do it....I recently had more than a few beers and added several dollops of this to my super noodles. I had to call in sick to work for the next 5 days,was bent over double in pain most of the time and ended up taking myself to hospital for a stomach x-ray....the super noodles were lovely though...

Its fab. As long as you get used to how many drops to put in your dish and not be stupid with your first attempt, you will love it. If you overdo it, it can take over the whole taste of your food so try it a few times and build up your "hotness"...

This completely blew my head off the first time I tried it. I eventually managed to build up some sort of resistance to it but forgot about it for a while (there are nicer sauces out there) and had to start all over again. Tend to use this sauce more as a novelty item when people are round than as an ingredient. Good for adding heat when cooking and okay (when you get use to it) as a sauce. The extract in it makes it a bit too tangy for my liking, but defentitaly worth having. Good-ish taste, extraordinary heat!..

when i first used this sauce - i thought i was going to die. i sweated buckets, cried, hiccupped, the whole 9 yards. but having perservered with it, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SAUCE. i have 8 bottles of hot sauce in my cupboard, and this is the one i use in all my cooking. its awesome, hotter than hott, but once you get used to it - its a delight. i cant recommend it enough. try mixing with a little olive oil and brushing on a pizza. SHAZZAM!!!!!!..
