Crazy Jerry's Devils Brew Garlic Hot Sauce
What the bottle says... Hey! Who the hell turned up the heat? I'll bet that little devil Crazy Jerry had something to do with it. Now, not only am I burning up, I also have garlic breath to boot! But I don't care because this is some good stuff, and there's nobody down here to impress anyway. Well, I'd like to stand around and chew the fat with you awhile but it's getting way too hot on this label so I'm outta here!
What we say... Crazy Jerry certainly doesn't care who he offends with his sauce names, covering everything from chemical warfare to satanism and everything in between, but beneath the packaging he also puts together some damn fine sauces and this is no exception. There's a real difference between a garlic hot sauce and roasted garlic hot sauce and this fits into the latter. Roasted garlic gives alot mellower, rounder garlic taste without some of the sharpness that can accompany garlic sauces. A combinatiomn of hot peppers, vinegar and lemon give it a plenty of piquance - we've tried this mixed with mayonnaise to create a delicious spicy dip - delicious.
