How to use Scorchio
Shopping at Scorchio is really easy. As you look through our store you can click to add items to your basket. When you've finished shopping you simply proceed to the checkout where we will take all the details we need from you to process your order. Once you have successfully placed your order you will receive an order confirmation email from us – this is sent immediately. When your order leaves us you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.
Orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri (working days only) are dispatched the same day.

Prices, Postage Costs & Breakages
The costs shown for our products include VAT at 20% where applicable.
Delivery charges are at cost price or cheaper, ensuring you get maximum value for money. For full details of our delivery rates see Delivery Info .
Our products show an approximate weight for the total package. This is a guide only to help our customers keep track of the delivery charge. This is not the exact weight of goods you will receive. Exact quantities and weights for individual item are shown in each product description so you know exactly what you will get.
As per the dispatch email we send customers when their order leaves us, we strongly recommend that you follow up within 3 working days (UK orders only) if your order hasn't been received. Please refer to your dispatch email for full details on how to do this.
When packing our products we make every attempt to ensure that they will arrive in pristine condition by packaging them well. We use strong postal boxes, shock-absorbing space filler and protective sheaths for goods in glass jars or bottles. If any of your products are broken/damaged and cannot be used then notify us within seven working days o receipt.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
We cannot be held responsible for any failed or delayed delivery as a result of incorrect, incomplete or unclear address information. Therefore we would urge you to check this thoroughly as you checkout and also on the order confirmation email. Once your order leaves us we're unable to change address information or redirect orders without incurring charges which you will need to cover.
Standard UK Delivery
We dispatch orders Monday-Friday (working days only). Your order will be delivered within 4 working days from the date you ordered.
Royal Mail orders will be sent either by regular Royal Mail post or by Royal Mail's Track & Trace Service. Orders sent by Royal Mail are usually delivered with your normal daily post. If you have requested that your package be left in a safe place, the postperson will try to follow your instructions, but if they believe it may damaged or that the location is not safe enough they won't leave it. If they can't deliver your parcel they will leave a card and return it to the local sorting office for collection or for you to arrange redelivery – full details of these options are on the card that's left. If your order is sent by Track & Trace you will receive instructions with your dispatch confirmation email on how to track the status of your delivery via the Royal Mail web site.
Courier orders are delivered Monday-Friday up to 5.00pm. It's not possible to specify a time for delivery. Unless you instruct us otherwise, orders are automatically authorised to be left with a neighbour if the recipient is out and unable to sign for the package (they will always try to deliver it directly first though). In this event, the courier will leave a card advising you where they have left your package. If you DO NOT want the courier to leave it with any neighbours or there is a safe place where you're happy for it to be left please tell us in the delivery instructions box when you check out so we can inform them.
Express/Named Day Courier Delivery
Our next day/named day delivery service is to UK mainland addresses only (see our Delivery Info page for any UK postcodes not classified UK mainland). This service is only available for orders placed before 1pm - they will be dispatched the same day to be delivered the following day (working days only) or dispatched to arrive on your selected day (working days only). We cannot provide a delivery time.
If you opt for either the next day or named day delivery service and Business Post fail to deliver on the date requested, then we will automatically refund you, the customer, the difference between our regular delivery charge and the next day/named day charge.
Free UK Mainland Delivery Offer
We offer free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 up to a maximum weight of 20kg. See our Delivery Info page for details of UK areas not classified UK mainland.
British Forces Overseas (BFPO)
Due to postage restrictions we are unable to send goods that weigh more than 2kg. As we're a commercial enterprise we're liable to pay postage to BFPO addresses.
With the exception of the countries covered by our European courier service if you are buying or sending Scorchio goods outside of the UK we use Royal Mail Air Mail. This is not a trackable service and delivery times vary enormously depending on the destination country. In our experience it can take up to 21 days for some countries.
Upon receipt, to ensure your purchases remain in the very best condition, we strongly recommend that you follow the specific storage instructions for each individual product and consume within the best before date.
Out of Stock
If your product is temporarily out of stock we will let you know how long it will be before it's available with the option to choose an alternative or cancel your order. If you want to wait for your chosen item then we will hold your order until it can be sent in its entirety.
Taking Care with Chilli Products
When using products that contain chilli please take extreme care not to touch your eyes or other sensitive areas of the body - it can hurt! Do not leave your chilli products where children or animals could get them. Some products should not be consumed in large quantities. Follow individual directions on your chosen products to ensure that you enjoy them and that no discomfort is caused.
Nuts & Ingredients
All ingredients are listed in the individual products descriptions. Due to the wide range of products we stock, imported from around the world, we cannot guarantee that our products are free of nuts or nut traces.
We're confident that you'll be enormously happy with your purchase so if for any reason it doesn't meet your expectations please let us know.
You can return the goods to us, within fourteen days of receipt, stating clearly your order number and details of your complaint and we will refund you for the value of the products or replace them with no quibbles or questions. Send to:

For your own peace of mind we recommend you use recorded delivery when returning goods to us. You need to cover the cost of the return postage charge unless otherwise agreed with us.
We will respond to all complaints and returns within five working days.
All prices include VAT at the current rate of 20% where applicable. If you are ordering from and delivering to a country where VAT is not applicable, the order value will be adjusted to reflect this when you check out. You will see a full VAT breakdown on your confirmation email, and a VAT receipt is available by request - simply email us with your order number.
