What we say...
We are not quite sure what 'mouth surf the big ones' means (and quite frankly we don't want to) but this is a hell of a hot sauce. Like the equally hot sauce Mad Dog Inferno, the makers at Peppers use molasses to give it a sweet, rich taste and this, combined with cinnamon and clove spices ensures that this offers more than just an intense explosion of heat.

Ingredients: red wine vinegar, healthy unsulphured molasses, onion, American garlic, jalapeno pepper, oleoresin capsicum, cinnamon, clove, herbs and spices.

This sauce is ok if you like a average heat. Not sure wat mister 1 vindaloo is on about???? all in all tasty but for serious chilliheads give it a miss.

This is a VERY hot sauce! I believe it's measured at around 232,000 Scoville units - for comparisons sake, Tabasco sauce is 600 Scovilles. The sauce has a similar look and smell to brown sauce which I put down to the molasses in it. I tried it 'neat' first of all which was probably a mistake! The first effect was the insane burning sensation on my tongue - I've eaten Vindaloo before and this was incredibly hotter. The next thing I knew, I was hiccuping uncontrollably. Then, my mouth began to produce copious amounts of saliva due to the kicking that my tastebuds had just been given. The effects took about half an hour to wear off. The next time I tried some, it was with some simple beans on toast. I mixed in some sauce - an amount no bigger than the tip of a teaspoon - to the beans before I cooked them. This seemed to dilute the intensity of the heat, but still left the beans with a real kick. I imagine that this sauce would be perfect to add to curry sauces, but use it sparingly.
