I am a fan of BARON products, for me they are the best standard sauces around. They always have a great taste and a nice heat.they are great value for money and they clearly beat their main rivals CHOLULA and ENCONA This sauce is the best BARON that I have tasted a marvellous full red/orange colour and a great consistency,it comes out of the bottle easily but keeps it's shape and is not runny at all. the heat makes you sit up and take notice whilst not being overpowering. the taste is one of natural peppers without any chemical bitterness. The price is excellent as well being quite cheap. all in all for taste, heat and cost it has to be one of the best sauces on the market...

Love the bright orange/red colour of this sauce! A lovely tasting sauce, great heat, and nice consistency. Beats Encona by a long mile for taste and heat...

By far one of my favorite hot sauces on the market. Very nice taste and not an over the top heat, but not exceptionally mild either. Quite a thick consistency (almost half way between ketchup and honey) but runs smooth enough. Tastes absolutely brilliant on toasties and sandwiches. Thoroughly reccomend to any chilli head from the seasoned to the new..

Very nice. I bought this sauce having never tried it before and I am really pleased with it. It's not overly hot. It is quite hot when you initially taste it, but it's a short lived heat that doesn't leave an after burn. It's still good though. The source has a sharp zing to it to begin with and then a nice deep flavour after that. I would liken it to somewhere between Cholula and Encona. It's not as sharp and fruity as Encona and not as smoky and mellow as Cholula but occupies a happy middle ground between the two. It is pretty much the same as those heat wise as well. It is a VERY thick sauce. It needs a good few shakes to get it out the bottle, even a quick whack on the bottom. That isn't a good or bad thing though, just an observation. Like Encona it has lots of nice little chunks of pepper in it. A nice dark red colour.. Overall a really lovely sauce. For £1.99 you can't go wrong...

My bottle arrived today, and I'm impressed. A very rich, smooth tasting sauce with a kick. It's not deathly hot, but then again, my tastebuds might be a bit jaded (Courtesy of Mr Blair himself). For such a low price, you really can't go wrong...

This little beauty caught me unawares! Most UK chilli-heads will struggle to find anything hotter than say, Tabasco or Encona Hot Pepper Sauce on the shelves of their local supermarkets and convenience stores; and so when I picked up a bottle of Baron Blazing Hot Pepper Sauce from an ethnic grocery store in sunny Brighton for less than three quid, I had this firmly in mind. It is perhaps for this reason that I was less than cautious about unscrewing the top and pouring a generous dollop of the orange-red liquid straight onto my tongue in order to have my first taste. This was quite possibly a mistake on my part but after a small amount of gasping and coughing and just a little eye wiping I was suitably composed enough to have a second, more cautious taste of this delicious and surprisingly powerful sauce. The first thing that strikes you is the very fresh, savoury aroma of scotch bonnet peppers. The taste is no let down either; a well balanced mix of instant heat and fresh, unadulterated pepper flavour without too much acid or sweetness. It's a rustic looking sauce, a rich light red colour and containing whole seeds. There are no signs of preservatives or artificial flavourings on the label and it shows. This sauce tastes of chillies and not a whole lot else! (which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned). Despite us getting off on the wrong foot, I'm a big fan of this sauce now and while it isn't quite a match for anything from Blair's Kitchen for example, it should certainly be treated with respect!..
